The Museum

MCEDOCAM in La Laguna preserves extensive collections on the history and culture of the Canary Islands and their relationships with America. The publicly accessible center is part of Museos de Tenerife.

Historical holdings & collections

The library, hemerothek and media library include books, magazines, historical documents as well as audiovisual and digital media. The historical inventory ranges from the 17th to the 20th century.

Exhibitions & Research

Selected documents and works are presented in changing exhibitions. The holdings are also available for academic and private research.
