The MUNA in Santa Cruz de Tenerife combines extensive exhibitions on the nature and archeology of the Canary Islands. Two tours are dedicated to the natural sciences and the archaeological history of the archipelago.
The museum has the largest existing collection on Guanche culture. Archaeological finds as well as complete mummies and other mummified remains of Tenerife's indigenous people can be seen.
The natural history collections cover the formation of the archipelago and its biological diversity. Exhibitions show, among other things, plants, land and sea animals, minerals, rocks, fossils and meteorites.
