Playa de El Bollullo lies below the cliffs of El Rincón and consists of black volcanic sand. The approximately 200 meter long beach is framed by volcanic rocks and green coastal slopes.
The open Atlantic often creates strong waves and currents, which is why special caution is required when swimming. Lifeguards, toilets and changing rooms are available on the beach.
From the area above the coast, a short path with stairs leads down to the beach. El Bollullo lies in the largely agricultural landscape of El Rincón; From Puerto de la Cruz the beach can also be reached on foot.
