Playa de la Tejita

The beach

Playa de la Tejita is located on the southeast coast of Tenerife between El Médano and Los Abrigos. The wide natural beach made of dark volcanic sand is one of the largest natural beaches on the island.

Nature & Facilities

The beach borders directly on the Montaña Roja nature reserve and is largely natural. There are parking spaces, toilets, a beach kiosk and a rental of loungers and parasols nearby.

Leisure & Surroundings

Playa de la Tejita is suitable for walking, sunbathing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. The open coastal landscape and the Montaña Roja give the beach a striking landscape.
