Playa Jardín is a 240 meter long beach with black volcanic sand in Puerto de la Cruz. The coastal area designed by César Manrique combines beach, gardens and promenade.
Palm trees and other plants grow along the paths immediately behind the beach. Waterfall and natural stone elements are also part of the complex designed by Manrique.
Breakwaters protect parts of the bathing area from the stronger Atlantic surf. Playa Jardín, together with Playa Chica and Punta Brava, is part of a connected beach complex on the coast of Puerto de la Cruz.
