The community

Arafo is located on the edge of the Güímar Valley in the east of Tenerife. The community is known for its vineyards, its long musical tradition and its quiet location between the coast and the mountains.

Landscape & Climate

The municipal area extends from the slopes above the east coast to the forested heights. Many hours of sunshine, a mild climate and wide views over the Güímar Valley and the Atlantic characterize the landscape.

Culture & Tradition

Arafo is considered one of the most musical communities in Tenerife. Music clubs, concerts, traditional festivals and viticulture have been part of the community's cultural life for many years.
