The fire station
The fire station in Las Chafiras is part of the Tenerife Fire Brigade Consortium and covers San Miguel de Abona and adjacent areas in the south of the island.
Fires, accidents & technical assistance
The tasks include fighting building fires, rescue operations after traffic accidents and technical assistance in other emergencies. If necessary, larger operations are handled together with other fire stations on the island.
Emergency call 112
Fire brigade operations are coordinated via the Canary Islands emergency call center 112. The control center alerts the responsible emergency services and transmits information about the respective emergency.
