The Surf Center Playa Sur

Surf Center Playa Sur was founded in 1980 and is considered the first windsurfing center in El Médano. The original windsurfing school developed into a water sports center with lessons and equipment rental for several disciplines.

Windsurfing, kitesurfing & Wingfoil

Windsurfing courses are offered for different experience levels. The offer also includes kitesurfing and wingfoil as well as the rental of the relevant water sports equipment.

Water sports since 1980

The surf center is open all year round and takes advantage of El Médano's wind conditions for daily training and rental operations. Since 2025, the traditional location has continued to operate under the Wind Center Playa Surf.
