The TEA Espacio de las Artes

TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes is a contemporary art center in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Changing exhibitions, photography, film and an extensive art collection form the central areas of the house.

Art Collection & Photography

The collection comprises more than 2,000 works and includes the important Óscar Domínguez collection as well as contemporary Canarian art. The Centro de Fotografía Isla de Tenerife is also housed in the TEA.

Cinema, library & architecture

The TEA includes a cinema for independent films and documentaries as well as an art library and a documentation center. The striking building was designed by Duke & de Meuron together with Virgilio Gutiérrez.
