The Local Police

The Policía Local of Adeje is the municipal police force of the community and is therefore directly responsible for many everyday situations on site. Traffic problems, illegal parking, municipal regulations and public order are typical in Adeje and Costa Adeje.

Traffic, order & events

The Policía Local regulates traffic within the towns, records traffic accidents and monitors parking and stopping bans. She also monitors municipal rules and accompanies events and other situations with increased visitor numbers.

Local, Nacional & Guardia Civil

The Policía Nacional is responsible for, among other things, identity cards, passports and many foreign matters. The Guardia Civil is particularly recognizable for its tasks on highways, at borders and coasts as well as in ports and airports. The Policía Local, on the other hand, is the right police for local traffic, municipal rules and many order problems within the community.
